marriage bliss

7.21.2014

I finally shot my first wedding! The chance came around when my good college friend, Dani, tied the knot with her dream of a red headed Brit, Steve. The day left me thinking about love - how it really is everything and how many amazing forms it can come in. There were all kinds of couples breaking it down on the dance floor: middle-aged, second marriage, homosexual, sibling, parent child, you name it. Love has no definition, but it is undeniably what keeps us going.

What a goddamn good day. I couldn't be happier for these two. xx

beltzville state park

9.23.2013

Adam and I wound up at Beltzville State Park by something of an accident. We meant to go hike somewhere else entirely, but got lost and wound up here. Although not where we meant to go, it did serve as a healthy dose of nature complete with spectacular views and a perfect sky. It was my first visit to the Pocono's outside of the car. We walked along the water's edge, skipping rocks and observing the ducks. Canoes had the perfect day for peace out at water. We tried to get our own, but unfortunately the boat rental appeared closed. Nonetheless, a great Sunday it was.

wind gap to water gap

9.16.2012

Adam, Nick, Naomi, Marley, and Mary-Jane venture into the woods. We did 16 miles of the Appalachian trail in two days - from Wind Gap, PA to Water Gap, PA. The trail was rocky as hell and there was a steady mist, but there was nowhere else we would have rather been. They were two of  the toughest, and yet some of the best days in a long while.
